Santa's reindeer get new bells for Christmas Eve flight

One of the most familiar sounds associated with Santa Claus and his sleigh is the jingle of the sleigh bells that the reindeer wear on their special harnesses. Each reindeer has 86 individual bells. After flying around the world a few times, some of the bells get worn out and lose their special jingle. These bells are then replaced with fresh bells and sent to the re-jingling department to be restored to their original condition. They are tuned up and polished so shiny that the elves can see their reflections in them.

SANTA'S JOB JUST GOT EASIER!

Santa's head elf reported today to the Holiday Post that while Santa was high up in the sky testing out his new sleigh, the fog, rain and snow was so bad that it was really hard to see through. When the

elves heard this, they quickly set to working on a new gadget that lights up to help Santa Claus locate houses from below. They call it the Santa Beacon. Buy Now!

Today is a remarkable day that many people thought would be long gone. It's board game day. No batteries, no wires, no memory chips. Just time-tested fun that is still loved by young and old around the world.
