Santa Claus drives official pace sleigh for North Pole 500

Today is one of the most exciting events of the season in the Village. It's the 324th Annual North Pole 500 Sleigh Race. Santa Claus will once again take the reins of his sleigh which serves as the official pace sleigh for the first lap. Then the elves with the fastest sleighs in the Village will compete for the coveted first prize: Elevator shoes.

SANTA'S JOB JUST GOT EASIER!

Santa's head elf reported today to the Holiday Post that while Santa was high up in the sky testing out his new sleigh, the fog, rain and snow was so bad that it was really hard to see through. When the

elves heard this, they quickly set to working on a new gadget that lights up to help Santa Claus locate houses from below. They call it the Santa Beacon. Buy Now!

Follow Santa's progress on Christmas Eve with the Santa Spotter on claus.com. Check how many cookies he eats and how many glasses of milk he drinks as he makes his way around the world!

The interiors of all the doll houses will be wallpapered. Production will begin on all the ant farms and plastic dinosaurs. Also in production is a dinosaur musical CD, "Tyrannosaurus Rocks."
